More than ever building projects and urban development demand an open-minded debate on society, environment and its alterations. Dramatic changes in the population structure, innovation in economy and technology and the shortage of resources ask for new needs of men and their surrounding buildings. Consequently, intelligent specialisation, flexibility and sustainability affect forward- looking architectural and urban culture.

A prime importance is to feel out the needs of people and to enable a value of identification with their built environment for them. Our architecture shall impact a sensouos stimulation on user; only through the usage it will be completed. Sustainability also means to offer the possibility of changes. We understand flexibility not as a rule, but as a spatial option for indefinite usability.

Contemporary art and architecture

We have a strong interest in art. Because she is questioning our perception of the world and is critically dealing with socially dogmas and paradigm, art affords us a wide-area of inspiration. Art and contemporary architecture are for us integrated elements of work.

Office

The office provides experience in the fields of work of redevelopment, renovation and new building constructions (one family houses in the city, sports halls, military barracks, youth centre).

Apart from realised projects Minkus-Architekten are also working on a broad spectrum of various planning and design tasks in the course of architectural competitions, workshops and expertise since 1999.
